Journey Of ETSC

1985

ETSC Computers Pvt Ltd formerly known as Electronics Trade & Service Centre (ETSC) was started in 1985 by Kailash Gupta having passed his engineering in M.sc.(Tech) Instrumentation from Birla Institute of Technology and Science , Pilani.

ETSC started initially to cater to Service requirements of various Electronic /Industrial Equipments in various Pharmaceutical/Industrial Units in Rajasthan.
1987

In 1987 with Govt . Initiating CLASS ( Computer Literacy And Studies in Schools ) project ; it diversified into Sales and Services of Educational Computers and Softwares in various Public Schools; Colleges and Educations Institutions.In short span of 2 years ETSC acquired major installed base in entire Rajasthan and started being recognized as leading Computer Vendor.
1988

With the opening up of IBM Personal Computers in 1988 ; the Computer market expanded as it became popular in all segments ; Govt and Private. ETSC started tying up with various Computer Companies such as Shyam Computers ; ET&T ( A Govt of India Enterprise) and made a big inroads into Govt ; Semi Govt and Private Corporates in Rajasthan. The installed base further expanded.
1991

ETSC made a leap jump to it’s Sales Strategy by partnering with WIPRO as an exclusive distributor for it’s Peripherals range in the entire Rajasthan . This gave a major boost to it’s market size and profitability with WIPRO being exclusive quality products and in high demand in the market. Soon in 1992 ETSC was awarded the Authorised Service Centre also for WIPRO Peripherals. This helped ETSC build an image of an Authorised WIPRO vendor in Rajasthan thus capturing a major customer base.
1995

Owing to this reputation and year on year increasing performance and achievement of targets; WIPRO also awarded dealership of it’s Computers Group ( WIPRO INFOTECH ) in the year 1995 and this made our product range widely covered for Complete WIPRO Range of Products and thus a Single Window Solution to meet customer requirements. This gave a major jump to ETSC Turnover and by now ETSC was an established player having a very good installed base of Customers.( Over 2000 customers.)

Since 1995 there is no look back and ETSC started expanding its product portfolio by strategic Sourcing and tie ups for various IT related products and services with various Distributors; Vendors . The strategy was to provide our customers with best quality products and services from SINGLE WINDOW.

It was time to consolidate as the volume of operations was increasing and therefore ; ETSC became a company as ETSC Computers Pvt Ltd with Kailash Gupta and Mamta Gupta as Directors of this Company.
1998

In 1998 ETSC became a Novell Reseller to meet demands from it’s Corporate customers for Networking Operating systems.
2001

2001 to Present

With experience in handling the business activities and in order to focus on revenues and manage services better; Mamta Gupta had taken the responsibility of handling ETSC –SUPPORT ( Entire Service activities) and Kailash Gupta as majorly driving Marketing Dept; with an overall responsibility of Company Growth in all areas.

To meet increasing demands and variety offerings ; ETSC tied up with IBM as Business Partner and further expanded its product portfolio and soon became a leading dealer for IBM as well.
